This, according to Ozzy’s former Black Sabbath bandmate, Bill Ward.

Ward made the comment in an interview with Classic Rock Revisited, where the drummer opens up about the bad blood between Ozzy, him and the rest of the band. The animosity started in 2012 when Ward dropped out of the band’s reunion tour over a contract dispute.

Ward says he would gladly rejoin Sabbath, but only on the condition that Ozzy apologizes publicly. He said, “I gave exact specifications of what would put me back in the band. I don’t f–k around, you know. You want me back I the band? Then make a public apology about the things that you said about me that weren’t true. That’s the first thing. The next thing is give me a signable f–king contract.”

Ward went on to say that he understands why Ozzy fans hate him, saying “I don’t necessarily agree with them that I am an a–hole, but if they want to call me an a–hole, I will support their right to do that.”
