Phil Rudd

AC/DC’s former/on-leave drummer will have to wait a little longer to find out if he’ll see jail time.

Phil Rudd has been unable to join his band on the road because he’s out on bail in New Zealand, and waiting to be sentenced on charges of threatening to kill and drug possession. Leading up to his day in court, Rudd maintained that the charges were unfounded, but still entered a plea of guilty. Rudd now faces seven years in jail but is confident that the charges will be dismissed and he’ll be back with his band soon. Unfortunately, he’ll have to wait a little longer for the verdict as his June 26 sentencing date has been postponed to July 9. The next battle may be getting AC/DC to invite him back. Read more HERE.
