Starting with a creole rub – 2 1/2 parts sweet paprika, 2 parts salt, 2 parts garlic powder, 1 part each ground pepper, cayenne pepper, onion powder, dried oregano, and dried thyme.

Then, the cleaning, peeling and de-veining of shrimps. Many many delicious shrimps!

Then the shrimp and creole rub and some oil get marinated all together in a sweet sweet freezer bag.

After a few minutes (30 is more than enough says Eric) skewer ’em, throw them on a pre–heated BBQ on medium. 2 minutes one side, 45 seconds the other side should be plenty.

Then they come off the barbecue looking like this. And tasting terrific. Well done, Alain!

Even Eric’s dogs won’t leave the deck when Alain’s shrimp is on the barbie.
