Kraft Hockeyville is back, and voting starts on Sunday! One deserving community in Canada will receive $100,000 in upgrades to their rink, and host a pre-season NHL game. The small Ottawa Valley town of Cobden is in the running for this year’s prize! Voting takes place Sunday and Monday, and they could use your support. Click here, starting on Sunday, to vote for Cobden!

Other towns in the running:

Maskwacis, Alberta, which in the 2011 census had a population of 0. None of whom, presumably, answered the census.

Wilkie, Saskatchewan, formerly home to the world’s largest grasshopper. Very suspicious.

Ituna, Saskatchewan, which is (we think) named for Apple’s brand of canned fish.

Bay Roberts, Newfoundland, which is located in Juggler’s Cove but employs NO jugglers. From what we know.

Didsbury, Alberta, whose Wikipedia page lists their Jazzercise program as a highlight of the town. Seriously.

Saint-Ambroise, Quebec, whose entire Wikipedia entry is as follows: “Saint-Ambroise is a municipality in Quebec, Canada.”

Courtenay, BC, which is basically just Nanaimo minus the delicious baked treats.

O’Leary, PEI, which doesn’t need Hockeyville, as they are already home to the thrilling Canadian Potato Museum.

Collingwood, Ontario, home of Kellie Leitch.

THE CHOICE IS CLEAR FOLKS! COBDEN IT IS!
