Food and drink news:

In special days of the year news, today is…New Beer’s Eve! This is actually a real and not-at-all-made-up day that dates back to 1933. In anticipation, thousands of people lined the blocks around bars beginning a day earlier (April 6th) and camped out, just waiting to have that first drink legally the following day (tomorrow is, of course, New Beer’s Day).
