On January 30 1969, The Beatles gathered on the rooftop of the Apple Building in Seville row in London to play a lunchtime gig that would be known as their last live performance, and their first in over two years.

Belting out songs like “Get Back”, “Don’t Let me Down”, and “Dig a Pony” onlookers and fans alike wouldn’t grasp the importance of this show until after the band broke up officially and publicly in 1970.

However there were other songs that were played during set up and rehearsal as well. The 21 minute final product doesn’t document the entire 40+ minute set

Although when you mention rooftop concerts The Beatles always come to mind, Jefferson Airplan actually did it a few weeks before The Beatles
