Mark Borowiecki is someone you do not want to mess with; on or off the ice, apparently. 

Many of the details are unclear, but Vancouver Police are thanking the Ottawa Senators’ defenceman for helping them take down a would-be robber on the west coast, during the Sens off-day. Many tweets allege “BoroCop” clothes lined the thief, in order to retrieve the stolen items, however that has not been confirmed by police, as of yet.

 

Vancouver Police Sgt. Aaron Roed said Borowiecki “successfully stopped the alleged thief from fleeing on a bicycle with stolen property taken from a vehicle, and the items are expected to be returned to the owner.”
