HOW YOUR DONATION WILL HELP THE OTTAWA FOOD BANK

  • Monetary donations are crucial at this time. With our amazing food industry partners and supporters, we can make your donation go further. This means that every dollar donated helps us delivery $5 of food to the community.
  • Monetary donations help us purchase the food we need – including fresh fruit and vegetables, eggs, dairy, and protein.
  • With people out of work, there is currently a higher volume of food bank users. Typically we help to provide food for 39,000 people every month, however during this time of uncertainty our food programs are seeing more and more people having to turn to them for the first time.
  • We are distributing more than usual to our food programs across the city so they can provide an increased amount to the people in their communities.
