After their smashing 2018 debut studio album Anthem of the Peaceful Army, Greta Van Fleet are set to release their second studio album The Battle At Garden’s Gate on April 16th, 2021.

This new album dives deep into the bands’ spiritual and philosophical evolution, giving you insight into what their experiences have been like since their debut album. Drummer Danny Wagner even said about touring the world for their last album that, “We realized that whilst growing up, we had been shielded by many things and we were unaware of a lot of things, and then we were thrown out into this huge world, and it was a bit of a culture shock at first. But as we started to travel a lot, meet new and different people and experience different cultures, our definition of ‘normal’ changed.”

What you can expect from The Battle At Garden’s Gate is that beloved classic rock sound that the young group have captured, especially with the help of Foo Fighters producer Greg Kurstin this time around. Their sound has matured with them, at least it seems that way with their new song ‘Age of Machine’ which has been released ahead of their new album.

Here’s looking forward to hearing the rest of The Battle At Garden’s Gate come April 2021.
