September’s Local Legends spotlight is on Pass the Feather; an Indigenous, Women led non-profit in Ottawa. They are part of the Indigenous Arts Collective of Canada which is designated a National Arts Service Organization by Canadian Heritage.

Pass the Feather proudly promotes Indigenous Artists via their IndigenARTSY site which you can check out online by CLICKING HERE.

On Thursday, September 30th, Pass the Feather will be hosting an inclusive Spirit Walk to honour the survivors of Indian residential schools and Indian child apprehension programs.

All are welcome to join in their Remember Me gathering at Parliament Hill for the National Day of Remembrance.
