Our Lady Peace are bringing the Wonderful Future Theatrical Holographic Experience Tour to Ottawa’s National Arts Centre June 21, 2022.

Duncan called in to CHEZ 106 to talk about the tour, twenty years of Spiritual Machines and what that album from 1999-2000 got right about the current state of the world.

Over 80% of predictions made in their first Spirital Machines LP have come true. The album, based partly on author Ray Kurzweil’s book ‘The Age of Spiritual Machines: When Computers Exceed Human Intelligence’ was was a bit of a left turn for the band. With five albums between it and their latest LP, Spirital Machines 2, why did they choose to go back? What essense is being revisited or perpetuated for fans both old and new to enjoy?

Duncan Coutts (bass) and Amy Volume talk Spirital Machines: Past, present and future.
