Alice Cooper continues to preview his upcoming album, Road, with the release of its third single, “Welcome to the Show.” The song was written by Cooper and members of his touring band and recorded with longtime producer Bob Ezrin. Like most of the album, it talks about touring and life on the road, which Alice tells us that after being a rock ‘n’ roll road warrior for more than 50 years, those kinds of lyrics come naturally to him.

Road, which comes out August 25th, is Cooper’s 29th studio album and follows 2021’s Detroit Stories. It features 13 tracks, including a remake of the Who’s “Magic Bus,” and comes packaged with the DVD/Blu-ray Alice Cooper Live at Hellfest 2022.

Cooper and his band are mixing stadium dates with Def Leppard and Motley Crue with his own shows, while he begins a Freaks On Parade Tour with Rob Zombie on August 24 in Dallas.
