Eric Clapton and Grateful Dead’s Bob Weir are featured on the upcoming Stephen Marley album, Old Soul.

Clapton plays lead guitar riffs over an acoustic version of Bob Marley‘s classic, “I Shot The Sheriff.” The album closes with legend guitarist and vocalist Bob Weir on a song called “Winding Roads”.

Other artists on the record include Jack JohnsonZiggy MarleyDamian “Jr. Gong” MarleyBuju Banton, and Slightly Stoopid.

The “jam sessions” were recorded during Covid lockdown, at a remote family farm in Florida and will be out on September 15.

Stephen Marley is the son of Bob Marley and an eight-time Grammy Award winner.
