Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’” is officially the best-selling song of all time. The RIAA has given the iconic 1981 hit ‘double diamond’ status, with 20 million units sold. It’s been a long ‘journey’ to the top for “Don’t Stop Believin’” – the song wasn’t certified Gold until 2005, but exploded in popularity thanks to pop-culture moments like the Sopranos finale.

Guitarist Neal Schon celebrated the achievement on social media: “We now officially have the biggest song in the world ever in the history of music! Congratulations to all.”
