If there isn’t a sign hanging in the exhibit that says “No Stairway To Heaven”, there definitely should be…

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland has opened a new exhibit called Play It Loud: The Instruments of Rock and Roll

The exhibit focuses on the many instruments used in the making of rock & roll, primarily electric guitars, but also drums, bass and keyboard from some of the greatest rockers of all time.

It made its debut earlier this year at the Metropolitan Museum (The Met) in New York City, before being transferred to Cleveland.

Among the guitars is the one former Eagles guitarist Don Felder used while on tour in 1976 in support of Hotel California: a double-necked, white Gibson. Fans also have the opportunity to get close to the white Stratocaster Jimi Hendrix used at Woodstock among others from the likes of the Beatles, Zeppelin, Van Halen and more.

Yeah, it’s an impressive installment…
