Rolling Stones announced a YouTube event for their new album, Hackney Diamonds.

Full details will be shared in the Hackney district of East London on Wednesday (Sept. 6), where the Stones’ Mick JaggerKeith Richards, and Ron Wood will be interviewed by Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon. The event will be exclusively streamed on the Rolling Stones’ YouTube channel.

Fans first gained knowledge of the new music a few weeks ago, through a series of clues the Stones dropped in newspapers and billboards.

In a press release the band stated: “Hackney may be at the heart of Hackney Diamonds, but this is a truly global moment we want to share with fans around the world via YouTube”.

Along with a teaser of Jimmy Falon being beckoned to the event, the band posted what looked to be the title of the first single, “Don’t Get Angry With Me”

Hackney Diamonds will mark the first new Rolling Stones album of original music since the release of 2005’s A Bigger Bang.

Hackney Diamonds will It’s also the first Stones release since the death of founding member Charlie Watts. He performed on nearly every recorded song since the group formed in 1962. Watts died in 2021.
