“Vinyl”,  the HBO series co-produced by Mick Jagger and Martin Scorsese will premiere in January. This trailer has just been released.

The show follows the New York music scene in the ’70s and stars Bobby Cannavale (Boardwalk Empire, Nurse Jackie), Olivia Wilde, Ray Romano and Andrew Dice-Clay. Jagger’s 30 year-old son James is featured as the leader of a punk band. HBO’s website calls the series “a ride through the sex- and drug-addled music business at the dawn of punk, disco, and hip-hop. The show is seen through the eyes of a record label president … who is trying to save his company and his soul without destroying everyone in his path.”
